The arts have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember.  Creativity drives passion.  This is a weekly look into the world of artists in music, art and dance and what they create.  Feed your imagination!

Brian Friedman – Let It Go | #BSBF

Song featured is “Let It Go” by Chonique/ Filmed & edited by Tim Milgram.  Brian Friedman is my fav choreographer by far.  Few match his ferocity and precision.  I also love watching his updates and videos as he turns me onto a lot of new music.  This video is great.  The attack is there.  Can’t stop watching.  Brian Says Be Free!

choniqueChonique Sneed | Fav Track: Let It Go

This song is featured in the aforementioned Brian Friedman video.  I was hooked immediately!  I couldn’t sit still in my chair.  Cool vibes.  Chonique is a choreographer and dancer as well which bodes well for music.  She has a deep understanding of what moves the body.  And these tracks definitely do.  Adding them to my playlist on Spotify as we speak.

okudaOkuda San Miguel | Vibrant Surrealism

Instagram is a haven for street and visual artists everywhere.  I have happily discovered so much great international art from creators spanning the entire globe.  It makes me full of joy!  This artist in particular really caught my wandering eye and got me excited.  He hails from Madrid, Spain and delves into the mediums of mural, canvas, sculpture, photography and video.  I LOVE geometric design as I am a mosaic artist myself so I gathered a quick affinity to Okuda.  The vibrancy and cool surrealistic qualities give the art a real pop.  Beautiful.
