The arts have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. Creativity drives passion. This is a weekly look into the world of artists in music, art and dance and what they create. Feed your imagination!
This week I am spotlighting a very cool arts exhibit I saw in downtown LA. The 14th Factory was an expansive collection of artwork, video and magic that touched my soul. It played very much on perception and inner strength. I found it quite interesting because it was an array of video and sculpture and still pictures all intertwined into a flowing river of art amazement. One of my favorite parts was being able to walk into and feel the vibe of a recreated Kubrick bedroom from 2001: A Space Odyssey. The exhibit made me think and smile which is always a good thing. Support the arts always.
Simon Birch had an array of very cool and entrancing artwork. His exploding Ferrari piece was memorable. They had both the video and pieces from the crash. A sea of red for sure.
