The arts have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember.  Creativity drives passion.  This is a weekly look into the world of artists in music, art and dance and what they create.  Feed your imagination!

Royal Family- World of Dance | #crownsup

I was perusing World of Dance on Youtube and came across this awesome video.  Very impressive I must say.  I am a new fan of the Royal Family Dance Crew.  They hail from the Palace Dance Studio in Auckland, New Zealand.  The groups include ReQuest, Sorority, Duchesses and Bubblegum.  Very clean and cool!  I watched the video in its entirety and enjoyed every second of it.  Lots of energy and pure fun.  Crowns Up.

ofmiceandmenOf Mice and Men | Fav Track: Bones Exposed

“The road to hell is paved in good intentions and apathy,
What did you expect when common sense is your enemy?
I’d rather burn alive than drown inside your reality
Can you hear me?
Are you listening?”

Broken Generation

This band takes me back to my Warped Tour days.  Fun times.  Of Mice and Men hails from Orange County and is comprised of Austin Carlile (vocals), Phil Manansala (guitar), Valentino Arteaga (Drums), Aaron Charles Pauley (bass, vocals) and Alan Ashby (guitar).  Restoring Force is a great album.  I revisited it the other day on Spotify and enjoyed it in its entirety.

murbanartThe Museum of Urban Art | tmoua.org

“A one stop place where urban artworks can be viewed easily, efficiently and in an odderly manner” –tmoua.org

I found this page on Instagram and thought it was very cool.  The museum was founded by Lord K2 in 2012.  It is a nice haven for talented artists a like to showcase their works.  Included are hand-selected pieces of street art, urban art and graffiti.  It is a vibrant visual art gallery for the senses.  Art lovers rejoice.
