The arts have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember.  Creativity drives passion.  This is a weekly look into the world of artists in music, art and dance and what they create.  Feed your imagination!

Wade Robson- Ramalama Bang Bang | FOX

This video features the talented group from Season 2 of Fox’s competition show So You Think You Can Dance.  Choreographer Wade Robson put together quite the fantastical routine and the dancers did it justice as they moved to Roisin Murphy’s hit Ramalama Bang Bang.  Wade’s moves evoke emotion and style.  The costumes were great to look at as well.  Cheers to the style team.  Wade has worked with the likes of NSYNC and miss Britney Spears and has evolved quite nicely as a creator and choreographer.  I have been a big fan of his work for some time now.  The overall theme of this routine reminded me a bit of Beetlejuice.  Scary, sexy and fun.  This was by far one of the best seasons to date and I enjoyed this group performance very much.

BA_ART_NoLimits_02(web)Boyce Avenue | Game of Thrones (main theme)- cover

I enjoy the smooth covers of the group Boyce Avenue.  Very talented group of musicians including Alejandro Luis Manzano, Fabian Manzano and Daniel Manzano.  I came across this cover of the Game of Thrones theme and, of course, became an instant fan.  The show is amazingly good and this acoustic cover is a great supplement to it.  I love the feel of listening to something acoustic.  It is so raw and clean.  This is the case here.  It is a powerful piece of music.  They are touring Australia and the UK beginning in September so check them out.  Their new EP No Limits is available on iTunes and Spotify.

m_4668633_4ELLOkw0KJcxLouis Carreon | The Drip Factory

I found international artist Louis Carreon on Instagram and thought his work was pretty great!  His faces and “drip” art is something else.  Something vibrant and evokes a lot of inner soul on canvas.  I would definitely be interested in purchasing one of his pieces and displaying it proudly in my house.  For inquiries on his work email benjamin@therevolvergroup.com
